Why is my OpenVPN app automatically turned off when i locked my phone.

Help please. I’m using openVPN for my internet. Iphone 6s plus. But why i can’t receuve sny notifications when I use it? Like whatsapp, Facebook or Messenger. Then when I locked my phone the openVPN will automatically stop functioning and will start again when i unlock my phone. Anyone here have any answers or solutions with my concern?

I don't know. Have you gone through the settings to see if there's an option to keep it active? I haven't used the OpenVPN app in quite some time. As for why you aren't receiving any notifications when it is enabled, I don't know. I don't recall it ever stopping me from receiving notifications when I used it, but as I stated above, that was some time ago. Hopefully someone who uses the OpenVPN app can respond to your questions soon.
