6S+ Rear Camera Replacement Cost?

The screen shakes and the camera won’t focus when I open the app to take a picture. This has been going on for a while and I need my camera for work.

Apple Store told me it needs to be replaced. I’m not due a new phone until November, so I’d like to replace the camera.

Has anyone done this, and if so, how much?

I went in for the something similar early last year. The genius quoted me $70. They put in a new camera but weren’t able to make get the shutter to open in the app. So I got a new phone for the quoted price.

Called a local Apple authorized repair place and they said $79 for the camera.
