Problems with Hyperlapse with iPhone 6S+

I had asked a similar question before but now I've narrowed it down to Instagram's Hyperlapse app. Videos taken with the app have a distortion to the sounds, somewhat like digital sounding.

It also affects the regular stock camera app if the Hyperlapse app was recently used and in the background. Upon closing the app, the stock app worked fine.

I just wanted to know if any other 6S+ users of the Hyperlapse app have had this happen to them too.

I'm just tried on a iOS10 as well as a iOS9.3 device, and did not notice this issue with either recording. Have you tried uninstalling the app, and re-installing it.. perhaps that may fix the issue.

Thanks for trying. I did uninstall and then reinstall the app but it still had the same audio problem. Now I'm wondering if there's something wrong with my iPhone.

Sorry one last question: did you save it at 1x or one of the higher settings? I get the problem when I save it at 1x.
