Text to speech in iBooks on my iPhone 6s Plus isn't working, anyone having the same issues?

Text to speed in iBooks iPhone6s Plus

Hi,
I have just received my iPhone6S Plus and am quite happy with it. I quite like the text to speech functionality for my iBooks, it worked very well the first time, but later I found it stops playing and the pause button displays all the time no matter how many times I press it. The only fix is to reboot my phone and start text to speech for iBooks again. I also find there is no way to indicate where to start reading.
Is anyone having the same issues? any fixes?

I rarely use iBooks, and I can't recall the last time I used the text to speech option, if ever. Having said that, what iOS version are you running?
