I was with Att since 2002. I switched last month to T-Mobile due to horrible network with Att at my place of business. Our iPhones were unlocked so it made for a easy switch. I'm so happy I switched to Tmobile. I'm getting better network, faster data, unlimited data, and a cheaper bill. I love what John Legere has done with at Tmobile and you know he's not taking his foot off of the gas pedal.

And here is my data speed that I snapped right after that last post to support my statement of fast data.

Bellsouth Mobility to Cingular to AT&T wireless to AT&T all since 1996. It all felt like AT&T. Unlimited data that is not throttled until 22GB. Streaming is a pleasure again. Why do I stay? Guess I'm content with the Devil I know.

Activate a line first to try it. That's what I did. Once I knew T-Mobile worked for me, then I ported mine and wife's numbers and Att is now history.

AT&T. Had an iffy experience with them when I lived in the Los Angeles area, but now that I'm back in the St. Louis area, AT&T has been splendid both in the city and more rural areas. My experience, at any rate.

Verizon. Even as fast as my data is compared to the other tier 1 carriers around here (northern NJ), I'm still jealous of those T-Mobile speeds! I had TMO some years back, and while I loved the company I did not love the tiny network footprint, especially when I stray from areas like Morristown. Go just a little ways up the highway and Verizon is the only carrier that gets a decent signal.

When I was on Sprint and visiting my daughter at school in Poughkeepsie NY, there was NO signal. My Sprint phones would all heat up as they madly searched for a signal that wasn't there, and after an hour of this my battery would be completely drained.
