I have my wife's old 5c with 16GB, she realised she needs 64GB iPhone 6 because she needs to shoot lot of video and record conversations. The end result is that her phone is always full. I have 1.3GB left even I will record even more video and take lot of photos, but I have that extra 200GB iCloud. We both listen lot of music, but after the iTunes Match fiasco all my 30000+ songs are now on a PC and only handful are kept in iPhones for testing purposes. Thinking of jumping on iTunes Music instead of using Spotify (with VPN), but iTM China works only if you play Chinese music that comes from the mainland servers, foreign music, whatever little is available, doesn't load properly. So 16GB is OK, if I don't keep all 1000+ apps on my phone, with family plan we have enough download data available to load the apps as needed.

I had a 16GB iPhone 6 and upgraded in November to a 64GB iPhone 6s. For me 32GB would have been adequate but 64GB is better. I have no need for 128GB at this time.

I did't buy a 16 GB iPhone 6s, but I bought an 16 GB iPhone 6 last year. A little regret, the storage is easily full. I would buy a 64 GB or larger space iPhone , if I buy an iPhone 6s.

Bought the 16gig. Didn't hesitate, since my Moto X 2013 16gig which I had for 3 years was always enough for me. I stream my music and videos. And my storage is in the cloud. Company phone, so I didn't have a choice of larger storage, or I may have been tempted. But no real need!

I have a 128GB space grey 6s Plus and just got a 64GB gold 6s Plus (I'll jailbreak that one one day). 16GB would make me have to consider and manage storage...don't wanna have to do that.

The 16GB really only exists so they can have a lower starting price...

Perhaps, but I'm sure the difference in cost to Apple wouldn't even be noticeable if they started at 32 GB at the same price point. There's some marketing involved. They want people to pay the extra $100 for the 64 GB, which wouldn't be as attractive if they started with a 32 GB model over the current 16 GB model.

I don't even acknowledge the existence of these so called "16gb iPhones" I had always went with 64gb, until when I went in to order my new 6s plus, the 64gb would have taken and extra month to deliver. 128gb was available in a week. I went ahead and spent the extra $100 and so far love the extra storage.

Every phone that I've bought this past year has either been 32GB (Note 4/Note Edge - SD card capable to 128GB), 64GB (6S/6+) 128GB (6S+).

I have a Note 5 coming today that is a 64GB. I will never own a phone again where I have to worry about what I can put on it again.

Even my iPad is 128GB.
