6 digit passcode randomly stopped working...

I am at a loss here. All of the sudden, my 6 digit passcode (which I have NOT changed since I got my 6S Plus) has stopped working. Touch ID still works fine, but I'm afraid the next time I have to actually use the passcode what will happen.

Anyone else experienced this before? I've owned every iPhone since the original in 2007 so I'm no newbie.....but I'm puzzled.

Stopped working where? Can you go in Settings and reset it?
It still asks for my 4 digit code in Settings >passcode. 6 digit everywhere else.

Stopped working on lockscreen, or in Reset Settings area....

Like I said Touch ID works, but that only helps me until I'll need my passcode....

Worst case scenario, you can't figure out your passcode and get locked out. There is a solution though: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204306.

If I were you, I would back up to iTunes prior to getting yourself locked out of your device.

did you ever get an answer, other than full reset/restore? I'm in the same boat with only 1 of my 4 ipads/phones/ipro's
