Ok...enough people have their iPhone 6s+ that I can ask the question now. How is the battery life...really? I've read reports that the 6s battery actually outlasts the 6s+'s battery now!

Say it ain't so. :(

I think it's great! I was at 43% 42 hours standby and 8 hrs. of usage!

Not too bad, but I don't think it's quite as good as my 6 Plus.

Better on standby, seems to drop faster when used. Time will tell.

Ridiculous. The first day I used it out of the box (67%) from noon until 10pm and when I plugged it in it was at 10%~, and that is with me downloading all my apps. Since then I don't think I broke 50% yet. Though I am coming from an S6 so I am not used to battery life this good (I could see it drain as I used it)

I am happy with it just in case anyone misunderstood.

It is impossible that the battery in iPhone 6s is better than the battery in iPhone 6s plus.

Mine is lasting longer than my 6 Plus did with the same usage...nothing dramatic, but at the end of the day, there is more juice left than before when I put it on the charger.

6s battery does not outlast the 6s plus battery. Far from it. Sorry but you have heard incorrect.

He misread that article, it reported that the 6s has better battery life then the regular 6 plus. Not sure how accurate that is though.

My 6s battery lasts just a little under my 6plus, very close but does fall behind. I also noticed that I receive a weaker signal reading on my 6s plus that may have something to do with it.

Not accurate at all...my wife's new 6S gets around 8 hours of usage on a full charge...6 Plus easily got 10-11 hours with the same type of usage. I'm getting around 12 hours on my 6S Plus, which is amazing in my opinion, well more than I ever actually need.

That's not my normal usage by the way. I work nights and forgot to charge yesterday. So when I noticed I just didn't charge before I went in to see if it could make it through the work day using it like I always do. Didn't disappoint. It hit 20% a few mins after walking through the door.

Off the charger at 5:30 am and back on the charger when I go to bed at 10:00 pm, with my normal use, without hitting 20%.
Normal use means consistent texting, FB, BBM, Instagram, Pinterest, email, browsing, Tapatalk, music, photos.

This was usage from yesterday & I'm extremely pleased. Still had 37% left when I took the screenshot....it's much better than my 6 plus.

I unfortunately can't test the battery today....with this nor'easter coming through today and later possibly the effects from Joaquin, I'm keeping all my phones plugged in just in case we have outages. I learned during the summer derecho of '12 that keeping the phones charges was a very very very good idea!!!!
