I get 5-6 hours so it's okay, 1-2 better than my note 5 but I am a heavy user.

Definitely. The 6S is still good, but the Plus is way better.

I don't always need the extra battery life, but when I do, it's there, and I'm thankful for it.

IOS doesn't measure screen on time. It measures usage time. Hard to compare directly to Android. I don't use 3G. And I'm on Wifi the majority of my day other than roughly 1.5-2 hours a day on 4G/LTE streaming music or podcasts.

I'm on WiFi at home and on the network at work since WiFi is not allowed there.

Which services are you r feeding to? Location services is enabled for those apps that I need, but not all my apps. My screen is set to about 30%, my background refresh is enabled for some apps that I depend on but not all....for example I haven't got IMDB set to refresh or for location services but FB, Google, Safari, weather apps, news apps etc all are.

I'm just aware of where is weak signal and don't try to push the phone when I'm there, like for example, underground on the Metro. And of course I don't use it while I'm driving. Other than that, I use my phone normally. I'm constantly on it.

What about Location Service > System Services? Are they all enable?

Here's my latest...

Regarding the one pretty anomalous result under 8 hours - I spent two hours on the phone while looking at a WebEx which is why the usage was so bad that day. Still made it through my day just fine though.

This was usage from yesterday & I'm extremely pleased. Still had 37% left when I took the screenshot....it's much better than my 6 plus.

TSMC but that doesn't even make a difference. My 6S is Samsung & I get great battery life on that too.

Yes for those apps and services that use it. For example, background refresh are on for apps like Google, Google Maps, FB, weather apps, news but not for things like Bank apps because I use the bank settings for alerts.
Same for location services. I've got it turned on for maps and weather but not for social media.

The battery life of 6S+ is really a long running. You can spend you whole day without charging your Iphone. Really too awesome

Sorry I didn't see your post until Tapatalk notified me of your quote. I plugged it in as I drove to work so I don't have a good stat to give you for today.
I generally get over 24 hours with around 12 to 14 hours screen on time. Now that I've gotten a good baseline and I know how my phone performs, I plug in whenever I have access to a power source, such as in the car.

My usage is usually around 10hrs with 20+ standby depending on what I'm doing.

6S Plus on full brightness...I forgot to put the brightness on Auto when I changed it earlier. That makes a big difference.

Mostly wifi today but I should have disabled it and used LTE. Wifi is terrible at the office I was in today.

edit: I always keep location on. I travel 98% of the time so it's beneficial for me.

please excuse my ignorance here but i'm very new to ios, and indeed my 6sPlus- perhaps answers here to this point may help new users who come across this thread like me. How is the standby time actually calculated by ios... and how does it relate to 'usage'? I'm assuming the 'standby' figure reflects the total time my device will remain powered at that given point right? ie, so the less I use my device the longer the theoretical standby time is correct? Is a motor vehicle's 'miles per gallon' calculator a suitable analogy here? the harder or more poorly I drive, the lower my MPG will be.. ?

Hey, my iPhone 6S+ battery life so far is little disappointing I must say. I can get through 30% within an hour. Needless to say, I need to re-charge several times a day. Not that heavy a user though.
