    Ugh this is so damn annoying... Waiting for activation... Or when I try to sign in.. It takes forever to log in after I enter my password and nothing happens... I did all the troubleshoot... Restarted iPhone, reset network settings, turned message on/off toggles.... I did everything and nothing works. Sometime I get lucky when I send one iMessage message and then it switch back to text (green bubble) soo annoying

    You can always reset the device or make a Genius Bar appointment with the nearest Apple Store.

    Turn off Wifi if it's on and do the following:

    Settings>Messages>Send & Receive. Tap on your Apple ID and sign out completely. Now tap it again and sign in again. It should work better now.

    Remember to keep wifi off during the process.

    I had to do the same after restoring to the new device.

    Best way I found is to sign out of Icloud, restart, and sign in to Icloud again.
