Switched over to Android a few years ago for larger screens when I found the 5 to be disappointing. - particularly with respect to battery life - and now tempted to come back to iPhone.

Based simply on battery life as the primary criteria, can I get some feedback on whether the 6s Plus can get through a normal day of usage. I'm assuming moderate to heavy usage, cell coverage that is good at times and probably bad at times, wifi and bluetooth on, some video and gaming, emails and browsing. I'd keep screen at 50-70% or so with auto brightness off.

For 6 Plus owners, would you get through a 7 am to 11pm day without worrying that you will die out?

For 6S Plus owners, from what you have seen so far, can you make it based on experience so far?

Thanks in advance.

With the 6 Plus or 6s Plus, you should be able to make it through a day at work without having to worry about it dying. Low Power Mode helps too.

(Edited because it was a redundant post. Blame it on early morning & no coffee...! :))

I dont know what I am doing wrong, but the battery life on my 6s+ is draining A LOT quicker than on my 6+. Maybe a fresh install, and set everything up from scratch is what I need.

I am having the same problem. I have calibrated the battery, reset all settings, and used iTunes to restore the phone from a backup after restoring the phone as new. No significant battery-life gains were achieved. As I write this the battery is at 14% after a Usage of 8 hr and a 14 hr, 44 min Standby.

Today I took the phone off the charger at 6:00 AM and at 11:46 AM the battery was at 50% with a Usage of 4 hr, 32 min.

My 6s+ generally lasts all day with moderate use. I unplugged at 5:30 this morning and I'm at 27%.

Forum members would be more helpful if they reported Usage in hours and minutes as it appears in Settings > Battery rather than describing the use of their devices as heavy or moderate.

I went through my apps and shut off a lot of "Background App Refresh" and my battery is much better. I also adjusted "location" as well on a few apps.

I work thirds and normally take my 6S+ off the charger at about 4PM and don't charge again until about 10am the next day. I usually still have 40% or more and I would consider myself a moderate user.
