iPhone 6 issue (Battery?)

Hi, I noticed a line on my iPhone a few days ago and today I noticed that the screen is a bulge near the volume buttons. I looked online and a few said that it probably is a battery issue, can anyone confirm this or know what the cause is?? Will there be any long term damage done if I keep using it for a while before bringing it to a shop to fix? Much appreciated!

I cannot see the images you’ve posted, however, if you’re noticing a bulge and suspects the battery, I would not expect it to continue functioning normally much longer. I highly recommend you take it to the nearest Apple Store to have them troubleshoot the issue as soon as possible.

I would take it to the Apple Store. If it’s a battery it could explode in you.
