Iphone6 says headphones attached but no headphones are attached

There is no volume coming from phone when watching media or during a phone call. If I insert headphones I can hear, but nothing when I take headphones out. Have turned on and off. Help?

Check the usual suspects:

Mute Switch
Volume buttons
Do Not Disturb option
Bluetooth connectivity

Also, try rebooting your phone.

Try plugging the jack in and out about 10 times. There may be debris in it.
