Why don't I have Facebook alert sounds on iPhone 6?

No Facebook alert sounds on iPhone 6

This drives me crazy. I do not get the sound I choose for the Facebook alerts on my iPhone 6. My mail alert sounds work etc.. But not Twitter or Facebook. Why? Please can someone help?

Have you check the Facebook notification settings? Go to Settings, then Notifications, then Facebook, then make sure the sound is ticked on.

Welcome to iMore,

The title you wrote for the thread is a bit different than what you said in your post; so to cover both.... along with what pkcable stated;

You cannot choose a specific incoming notification sound for Facebook. The app itself has a built in notification sound and cannot be changed on a stock Apple device.

If it's any consolation, my Twitter and Instagram (incoming) notification sounds haven't worked in a very long time.
