how do I get the bleep sound when I plug my iPhone 6 into charge?

it used to work, and is a great feature to let me know it was plugged in properly. Now it doesn't ... can anyone tell me how to turn it on?

Make sure the volume is turned up, no make sure the mute switch isn't on.

Are you using an OEM charger. I had an aftermarket charger that did that

Welcome to iMore! Are you getting a vibration when you plug it in? If so then your phone is on silent.
