Why isn't my alert on my iPhone 6 repeating?

alert on my iphone 6 won't repeat

I had my alert set on my iphone6 to repeat 10 time, and it has been working since I got it last summer. it suddenly stopped working. The alert goes off only one. I've tried re-booting my phone, and resetting the number of times my alert goes off, and nothing has worked. Any ideas how to fix this? Thanks!

Have you tried setting it to a different sound?

If resetting to a different sound didn't work for you, try a hard reset; press and hold both Power and Home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo. Then release the buttons and allow the phone to reset itself. This does not delete any data.
