Can't Trade In 6

So my iPhone 6 has a tiny little crack in the no torn right hand corner of the glass...you can't really see it unless you're looking for it, and the screen is not impacted.

I was told by att that I can't trade the phone in for an upgrade (I do the every 12 thing). I can either pay 300+ to "buy" the phone and then it's mine to keep and I can upgrade, or spend 100-200 to have a third party fix it and then trade it in.

I don't know what to do...I don't want to be stuck with this phone for anther year, and I don't know if it's worth it to try to sell it with the crack.

Any ideas or suggestions??

With so many teenagers walking around typing on shattered smartphones screens, selling yours with a tiny crack that's barely visible should be a breeze....
