My I Phone is not getting charged and the charger is a genuine one

My I Phone charger is charging my I Pad but the same charger is not charging my I Phone 6

If a different charging cable doesn't not work, try a different wall socket. If that doesn't work, make a Genius Bar appointment with the nearest Apple Store to have them diagnose and fix the problem.
