It's fairly normal. You might calibrate the % by letting it run down to 1% or as low as possible, then charge it up to 100%. Let it continue to charge for at least another 30 minutes. If it continues to shut off higher than 1%, then the battery may be beginning to show early signs of wear. This is normal. How old is your 6?

My old 5s tends to shut off at different percentages below 20% even after calibration but it's because of an aging battery. But if I choose the low power mode option at the 20% warning it will go down to one percent like it's designed to

You can use, iBackUpBot or something like that, to see how cycle have your battery, normally is to have about 300-400.
