how do i transfer photos from my iphone to windows 10

I own an iphone 6 and it is nearly full with my photos. my brother in law owns a hp windows 10 neither of us are computer savey but if told how to transfer the pics from my iphone to windows 10 then we might be able to accomplish it with little confusion

Make sure your phone is unlocked, then connect it to your computer with your USB charging cable. If you are asked if you want to trust this computer click on Yes. You should hear a sound while your phone mounts as as USB drive.

Choose Computer from the Start Menu and you should see your iPhone listed at the bottom. Double-click or Open the iPad icon, then do the same for Internal Storage, and then the DCIM Folder.

You should then see a bunch of folders with APPLE in the name which contain you pictures. Select all of these and copy them to a folder like Pictures or the Desktop on your PC.
