Why can't I log in to MESSAGE?

I can't log in to MESSAGE

I can't log into MESSAGE in settings on my I Phone 6. It says "Waiting for Activation" I am in AIRPLANE MODE and WIFI is on. I am traveling. This is what I always do and am able to send/receive IChat messages (blue bubble). This time it won't let me. I have logged off/back on. I sent request to a moderator. Reply said to try logging off/on to my account. I did. nothing. Tried to reply to moderator and this time it makes me log in. Now it says my user name/email address and password don't match. Says to put in my email address, which I did and it says someone already has that email. Yes, ME!! I'm so frustrated. I can't find the answer online or on my phone and I can't log in and all I get is "WAITING FOR ACTIVATION" and a big fat nothing. I am trying to work and this is keeping me from working. H-E-L-P!!!

Disable iMessage and then do the following.
1. Reboot your iPhone.
2. Go to Settings→ General→ Reset and then select "Reset Network Settings".
3. Reconnect to the Wi-Fi network.
4. Re-enable iMessage
