    I have tried everything. It has been searching for two days now. I restarted it, I shut it off, i reset all of the settings, I took out the sim card, and i even tobbled the airplane mode and the cellular data switch.

    What kind of signal? Wi-Fi or cellular data? Unless you're in an area of little to no coverage, make a Genius Bar appointment with the nearest Apple Store to have them diagnose the problem for you. If it were me, I'd put the phone in DFU mode to restore it and then set it up as new and then see if it can acquire a signal. If not, then I would know that the problem could be hardware-related.
