Is it possible to lengthen the time allowed for voicemial on the iphone 6

My voicemail only gives 25 seconds to record. Most messages get cut off before they even start.

Isn't that a wireless carrier issue? Anyway, I'm not aware of a setting on the iPhone that controls the length allowed for voicemail messages.
