Activate Siri and say "shuffle music"... Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to activate control center and deal with AirPlay...

Start playing any song in your music list, then tap icon that song in the small now playing label in the bottom. This will bring up that song to fill the screen. Then tap in the shuffle icon.

Just learned this. I don't use siri so I went this route.

In either order:

In the Music app, open the song list you want to play and tapnthe "shuffle" line at the top of the track list.

Use Conteol Center to actuvate AirPlay.
