I've heard a lot of different things about this. Is there such thing as overcharging your battery like keeping it plugged in all night?

Nope. I do it all the time with no issues. The circuitry in the iPhone prevents overcharging.

No, I plug it in every night and unplug it when I get up in the morning. My battery hasn't been harmed, and the battery life is still as good as ever.

Here's a link to a smartphone battery guide, I actually was just reading this before I saw your post lol
