Ok so all my photos are backed up to iCloud and every time I view a photo I have to wait until the circle hour glass completes before the full photo quality is viewable. I went through every single photo waited for the hour glass to complete seemed to be fine for a few days where I could view the photos without waiting but now the circle hour glass is back again for all photos. Anyone can explain this?
If you've set Photos to optimize storage on your phone, what is saved on the phone in full resolution will change over time.
in setting you can select the option to keep full resolution photos on device and it should fix your issue
But doesn't that take space on my phones hard drive?
Yep. It's a trade off. Keep full resolution photos on device at all times and use more storage. Allow iOS to optimize storage and manually download the full resolution when you need to do something like edit a photo.
