Deleting recent activity from iPhone 6

How do I clear recent activity bubbles from iPhone 6. On the iPhone 6, your recent contacts (calls or text) are displayed on your home screen with that persons contact ID picture and name. How can this be deleted from home screen?

Settings>> Notifications>> select the app(s) in question... adjust as desired... style when unlocked... if it's in Notification Center - or not...

Settings>Mail, Contacts, and Calendar>Show In App Switcher.

From there, you can change your preferences, either by favorite contacts you've selected, or recent contacts.
