I had the red leather case on my 5S...and I actually liked the way the leather was wearing (but it's important to know that it does wear A LOT and very obviously). I never bought it for my 6 Plus because I personally prefer the blue leather case now, but I always thought it looked nice, even after wearing in for months on my 5S.

I have the red leather on my 6 and absolutely love it! It's so sleek and sexy!

I used leather protectant on mine before using and it's definitely worked out very nicely! I've had the case since just before Christmas of last year and it still looks brand new!

And as a plus, this is the only authorized full cover red leather case that can display the Apple Logo, even though it's somewhat muted. All others must have a viewing hole or port.

Sorry I didn't respond sooner... yesterday was a bit crazy and I didn't make it back on the forums! I actually used the leather protectant that I purchased from Michael Kors for my purse I figured that protectant is designed to protect against more severe elements than my phone would ever see, so why not try it out! And it's worked perfectly! Let me know what you end up trying out (if you end up trying something).

my 3 different cases for my iPhone 6 - find which is inferior..
I tried appreciating the "patena" of the red  leather case but it doesnt grown on me.. good thing i have my favorite olive brown  leather case!

Excellent review for how these cases wear! And thank you for the pictures! I actually tried all three of these. The red made me too ocd- I was washing my hands before handling it and it got a little too much. I was too paranoid I'd get something on it so I returned it and got the black one again- the one I originally started with! I tried the brown too but I like the black better with my space grey. Personal preference! But the brown is a close second. I see no wear on either the brown or black according to your pictures. Again. Perfect review on how these weather! Thank you for posting!

Yeah I did.. They must have been so annoyed with me! But I literally tried the colors each for about a week before deciding which I liked best

On the red apple leather case i was very happy for 2months.. but when it reached the 3rd month i get annoyed and OSD also triggered on me.. i realized that the case didn't serve its purpose.. a case is designed to protect not to be protected - it supposed to be plug ang play - install and forget. I felt sad that i need to purchase an expensive case again but i heared alot of good stuff on olive brown  leather case so i went with it.

Yes! That's it shouldn't have to worry so much about a case like that. I literally was using alcohol on my hands to make sure they were clean. Decided it wasn't worth it. I agree. The brown looks amazing too!

The reason the red leather wares so badly is because it is a different leather or at least get a different treatment during their making. If you have the red one and say the navy blue they both look and feel totally different, and I mean apart from the colour. I returned my red and kept my navy, brown and black.

Thanks for the photo review on your Apple Leather Cases. I have finallally made up my mind and I will NOT be getting the Redish-orange Apple Leather Case. The Navy Blue has just became my second choice (Black is first for my Space Gray 6Plus). I also saw a sales rep at BestBuy with a week old Red Apple Leather Case and it looked about a year old. Thats NOT what I'm looking for in a case. My month old Black Apple Leather case still looks brand new and I also think the Navy Blue should wear just as well.
