how do I calibrate the health app?

My distance recorded is higher that the distance measured by GPS motion.
Also my wife uses a fitbit and her steps are always less than mine for the same hike.
Can I recalibrate my iPhoen6?

Rebooting the phone and leaving it sit flat will re-initialize the sensors, but there's not really a way to calibrate them. It's more likely that you're seeing a mismatch in how the different devices interpret the data. If you can get a hold of a second iPhone, try putting one in each pocket and see if they measure the same number of steps. That will tell you if the sensor is malfunctioning or not.
