I had to restore my phone and when it restored my imessage was off for several days. It is now back on. Is there a way to retrieve the iMessages that I missed while it was off?

Messages default to regular text messages from the sender if you're not accepting iMessages or you're in a network that isn't sufficient for iMessage to work, so technically, you shouldn't have missed any messages unless they were sent from devices that don't have texting services (iPod, iPad, Mac or Apple Watch). Messages sent from iPhones should have defaulted to regular text...

As far as messages from those devices listed above that only send iMessage, if any of them were going to come through they would have done so by now...other than that, there's no way to push the other ones unfortunately.
