I'm in the process of debating between an iPhone 6 and a Galaxy S6. My main concern is all of my family is on the Android platform. I would like to know if there is anyone who has used Google aps on their iPhone 6 (such as Google Hangouts) and, if so, how well do they work. This will go a long way towards making my choice.

I can't speak about Google Hangouts. But I use Google Maps as my go to. I use Google Calendar app. Google Drive app Google Docs and they all work well in my opinion.

I've never had any issues with Google applications on my iPhone or iPad.

I exclusively use google voice and google hangouts on my iPhone for all communication. It's not as seamless as android, but I've never had a problem with it.

Google apps work great on iOS. I use Hangouts on my 6+ for group video calls, and it works great.
