    Hey yall. So I just got my iPhone retail and want to jailbreak. Is using Pangu on 8.1 the best option or is there a way to update to 8.1.2 and us tiag?

    One better than another. I'm super nervous and don't want any issues or problems!

    Can't do that... 8.1.2 no longer being signed.

    I'm assuming he got a unit that still runs 8.1. Just stick with 8.1 and jailbreak with Pangu and you'll be fine.

    They make it easy. Just make sure you have yourself a backup in case something goes wrong which is highly unlikely.

    Another option is upgrading to either 8.2 beta-1 or 8.2 point to beta-2. The first two pages of 8.2 are jailbreakable, stay on whichever you decide to use Apple did not put a time bomb on the 8.2 betas

    I'd stay away from this option as a select few tweaks may not be 8.2 compatible. Just JB with 8.1.

    Tried and tried. Kept getting an error about network connection. Gave up and updated to 8.1.3 hoping for a JB soon
