Volume Up Button Slightly Depressed?
I just noticed that the button is a little less than a millimeter lower than the volume down one. I remember reading about some people getting defective phones where the button sticks and the volume won't behave. Does anyone else notice anything like this on your phones? Personally I think it's just because of how much I've been using that button for pictures and such
Re: Volume Up Button Slightly Depressed?
It's to early to say your button usage caused the button to become depressed
I would have it checked out

It's been nearly half a year, so I think it isn't too early
Re: Volume Up Button Slightly Depressed?
My 6 Plus volume up looks more in than volume down. It works fine though.

If it is effecting use and functionality, take it to an Apple Store.

If the button was susceptible to usage degradation, there would be a wide spread report of the same issue...as there are always people who use a button more than you yourself do. Combine that with the fact that yes, as kataran said, 5 months isn't anywhere NEAR long enough to wear out a button on these devices unless the button itself is faulty in some way.
You have a unique issue with your device...it's advisable you have Apple replace it for you because it will probably only get worse if it's already wearing in like you described.
