When I take a pic from my iPad, there is a dedicated Instagram folder in my photos. When I do the same with my iPhone 6, there is no dedicated Instagram folder. Why not ??

Are you using iCloud Photo Library beta on both devices?

Go to your Instagram settings - under "Preferences" select the "Save Original Photos" option.

I tried deleting the app and it doesn't work. My Instagram pics go to my photostream and camera roll and not to a dedicated Instagram folder. Like my iPad.

It shouldn't be doing that. Is the application up to date on your device?

Yes it is. No dedicate folders now on my iPad now. And not on my iPhone. Deleted and installed on both devices.
