Yup. Best to pretend the 16GB doesn't exist. It's near worthless on a device with modern day media capabilities.

I've been doing fine with a 16GB iPhone 5S(only used 4 GB), but I've heard a lot about 16GB being worthless on the iPhone 6 so I was wondering.

It is all about budget. If you have enough $ get a 64GB

If you've only used 4GB of 16GB on the 5S, I doubt you would use much more on an iPhone 6. So it sounds like the 16 would be plenty.

Yeah. I was going to get a 64GB version but the rep told me otherwise.

Oh come on. As an ambassador, who better to go to for advice than us? Just because you've got a title and tons of posts, that doesn't mean you're suddenly availed of the option to ask questions. We're a community here.

I can't help but wonder if they were low on (or out of) the 64GB so you were advised to go with 16GB.

Yep! I've been reading all the reviews and posts about the 2 new iPhones, but still can't decide which to get next month when I get my upgrade. You'd think I would know by now. LOL

You only used 4 gb on your 5s. So why would you need more than the 16 gb model? Higher resale or trade value! That's it! Otherwise, 16 gb suits you fine.

I would go with the one that fits your needs best. A part of me thinks that I'd like a 6+ but then I remember I have a Note 3.

More GB over screen size. If you want more GB and the big display spend more money for it.

I,m in the same situation as you. Read all the different posts and articles. I,m gonna go for the 64 gb iphone6. This way I know I,ll not run out of storage. I know about cloud services and free storage but I made my choice.
Really wish there was a 32 gb option. That would be perfect. Oh well.

I don't feel I'm missing anything with the 6. I love the camera as it is and I have no issue with the battery life.

It's better to have the extra storage than to not have it and wish you did. I did this when I bought my iPad Mini 2. I though that 16 would be enough, then come to find out a couple months later that I can use all 16 in a short period of time. Needless to say I have bought 2 64 GB devices since and am glad I did. Not having to worry about storage is awesome

I have the original mini and have 21 GB of 27 GB available. Not used but available.

But it's not my daily driver like my phone where I'm over half used on my 64 GB.

Seriously that's about as ignorant of a statement as the Op's original question was. There comes a point in time when things, or concepts evolve to a state of simplicity where they no longer need questioning.

I was in the same boat 2 weeks ago and I went with the iPhone 6 64gb because I had the 5s 16gb and after a couple months you'll have to play "is this song worth the memory" or you'll keep repeating "take the pictures on your phone" because your memory is so low. I would rather have more memory and never have to worry about it with a lesser camera (iPhone 6) than have a bigger screen size and better camera but less memory & have to be picky about what's left on my phone (6 +)
