How to move contacts from Gmail to iCloud?

Just used the Gmail to get my contacts back on iPhone from Android but would like to get rid of it and turn it off. How do I move my whole phone contacts from Gmail to the iCloud?

Export them as vCards and drag the vCard icon on your Contacts application in your Mac. Turn iCloud Sync on and and all your contacts should be synced with iCloud.

I don't use a Mac actually it is Windows that I have. And is there an easier way to do this? Like save them to iCloud in the phone itself or something and then remove them from Gmail?

You already asked about this on another thread. Toggle contacts on in iCloud. Toggle contacts off for all Gmail accounts.
