    I have a question....

I live in the UK and we obviously don't have Apple Pay here yet but we do have tons of shops with the NFC Terminals for actual NFC bank cards etc.

What I wondered is would someone from the U.S. who has a valid Apple Pay Bank Card setup be able to use Apple Pay here in the UK?

I'm curious to know if this would work? Technically you setup Apple Pay with your local bank and your bank is he one authorising etc so in theory it shouldn't matter where in the world you are right? We obviously have the technology here in the UK for Apple Pay we just don't have any issuing banks yet so if you had it already setup I'm guessing it would work over here?

Has anyone tried it whilst out of the country yet?

Yes it would work. The region settings on the phone need to be US and the card issued by a participating US bank. A few weeks back there were reports of people doing this in Australia and NFC terminals there.

I use Apple pay all the time around London.
    It definitely works.

Wow really? Where do you use it out of interest and have you ever encountered any issues using it in the UK? I'd imagine the shop staff not having a clue about Apple Pay here.

Whole foods, eat, Google campus, vending machines, Etc. anywhere that accepts contact less payments or nfc payments.

Regarding the staff, they thought it was great.
