Thought I'd share my usage this morning as I am so impressed with how well it's lasted. Had a long, long day at work yesterday, admittedly my phone was only used for 7 hours, but the amazing stand by time, even with 4G on all day, receiving push emails, notifications from whatsapp Instagram and Facebook. So I am impressed. I even went out for the evening without having to worry about charging my device! Very happy in comparison to my previous iPhone 5

I don't doubt that the iPhone 6's battery life is great, I have run games after movies after games and it still lasted me a full day. Very impressed about the iPhone 6 among the whole string of flagships from all companies this year.

Lol, iPhone 6 battery is good compared to older iPhones, but you can't really compare them with the android flagships and the Nokia 1520.

I do realise the iPhone 6 has a small battery, but also "low" hardware which do not use that much energy.

Don't get me wrong tho, I like my iPhone 6, but I've seen way better battery "score's" on other phones.


Ps. I picked the 6 cause the 6+ is way to massive for a 5.5". So I knew what I would get

My battery life is averaging a day and a half, without charge and medium to heavy use. Anddddd, this phone charges uber-fast!!!!! Like 15% increase in 10 minutes or so! Imo, that rocks for me!!!!

I am very happy with the battery life on mine. It easily beats the iPhone 5/5s and the Moto X that I had previously.

My max was probably around 6, but it depends on what you do. If you just read some news via an app or play a game or watch video's. I'm a heavy user and than you will never reach 8h

From what I hear, the 6+ battery is immensely better than the 6.

I'm over here getting like only 13-14 hours of usage throughout the day while you guys are getting a full days worth.... Maybe something is wrong with my iPhone? I don't do much except text and listen to music every now and then.

13-14 hours of usage is pretty damn good!! I'd be impressed with mine if it had that much use. My standby time lasts for ever. When I start using my phone, battery decreases fast. But of course is to be expected. Post up a pic of your usage I'm sure people on here can give you great advice how to extend further, but sounds like you're doing pretty well

The way I usually gage battery life is 1 hour (60 mins) of usage equals 10% of my battery, plus factor in an extra 2% per hour for it on standby. This usually gets me to Apple's 10 hours of usage that they say it'll get.

Battery was always good, but with 8.1.1 update I think it's even better..

8.1.1 today, and it does seem a tiny bit better than usual, but it might just be me imagining things

Charged it first 3 times from 1% to 100%. Give it some time :-)))

you are using 3g? if not you may turn off other unneccessary function
