So my iPhone 6 just showed up about an hour ago. Just fired it up and notice it being warm on the top 2/3's of the phone, about from the iPhone logo on the back up. Anyone else experiencing or experienced this?

Might just be your phone getting hot (battery working a bit harder) while you are setting your new phone up. Apple designs the phone to throw the heat to the outside for obvious reasons. Enjoy your new phone I wouldn't worry to much about it

Thanks for your response. I also just thought, "maybe it's because all the apple apps need to update and they are all over 300mb a piece." Plus all the other updating and syncing, etc.

Mine definitely got hot while it was initially restoring all my apps.

Enjoy your new iPhone 6. I experienced the same thing with my phone during initial setup, but since then the temperature of my phone has remained cool.

Very normal for it to be warm during the first install, heck it even get's warm when you do a OS update, but during normal usage I have not found it to get very warm at all.

It happened to me too when I was setting my IPhone 6 for the first time. Don't worry about it.
