I am wondering if this is normal. When a receive a call and press the answer button it takes a few seconds to hook up. Is this normal.

First off what carrier are you currently using?

If it's Sprint you need to update your Network settings as I had the same issue a while back and that fixed the problem

This has been an issue for me on AT&T dating back to the ios 8 betas.

I've had that on all my AT&T phones.

Maybe it's a GSM network thing. I'm not sure what telus is.
