Is 16 GB enough?

is it like cache it makes ? i use spotify alot but i use ccleaner daily and never have issue have you tried that maybe ?

I've never tried any apps to clear the space. Thanks for the advice. I'll try it now

For the long run, 16GB won't be enough. 64GB would be the best option imo.

I agree. IMO what seems like enough space now probably won't be 6 months from now. I don't want to worry about how much space I have. That's why I went 64

For me 16 gb is way too little I have a 128 some people are different in storage sizes.

For most people I've found, 16 isn't enough!! For example, I have 1733 songs downloaded on my phone, 4 videos and a a bunch of podcast downloaded on downcast! The other 125 apps doesn't really take that much storage, but My Big 3 takes up almost half my storage on my 64G iPhone 6! Even if you don't think you will need the storage, the more you use your phone, the more apps and goodies you will want on your phone. At least that's been my experience! If you can possibly come up with the extra 100, I highly recommend the 64g!!View attachment 74809

Most iPhone users have a 16 gb and are satisfied with it. Maybe you meant most people on forums.

16 gb not enough? For whom? I've been using one since August of 2013, and have 4 gb available. You just can't put a ton of music on it.

I bought a 16G iPad and regretted it almost instantly, when I realized how few movies I could get on it. Never again.
I now get the highest storage I can find. I've got close to 700 stashed away already for my 128 Plus in September and I'll go to 128G for my next iPad. Saving for that one too but that's not as critical to me as my iPhone, although I know I'll need a new one instead of upgrading to iOS9.
In my opinion and for how I use my device 16G is not enough for me.

I could probably get away with a 16GB but for $100 more and quadruple the storage I had to go 64GB. All my music is in the cloud as well as all my pics and videos. I'm around wifi a lot so it's fine. I get 15GB per month on data also.

Hi Sara- thanks for your inside. With your storage, do you have a lot of apps? I keep my music on another device, don't do gaming, but like apps. So I'm concerned that the 16 g isn't enough for apps and future apps updates. Thanks!

My first iPad was 16GB and it was painful. Next one I got was 32GB which was a bit better. This year I didn't play around with storage I got 128GB for my 6 plus, mini 3 and air 2. There's no point in being miserable because there isn't enough storage.

Exactly! That's your experience. Many never need more than 16. My Wife is one. She has 32 gb, but will never use more than 8 gb. She's had her 5c almost a year and has only used 4.6 gb. And some of that I put on there.
