Was watching YouTube today and my phone sounded like the speaker was popping. I do at times put the speaker loud. Does anyone have the same issue?

No but it sounds like you should take it to the Apple Store asap to have that checked out!

I typically put volume limits on so that an accidental situation an be avoided. Blown speaker noise is irritating, and a hassle to get repaired. Let's hope your device is not defective.

The thing is I got it at radio shack and I don't think they will replace it. Since I didn't get it at Apple Store don't think it will be replaced.

I've also noticed a popping on a few things. Mostly when I'm playing plunder pirates. It sounds like a lag in the audio. May be due to processing power.

It's under warranty. If there's a problem the Apple Store will replace it regardless of where you bought it. The only exception may be when you are still within the 14 day return policy.

Well what I just noticed is that it is fine when I play a song on iTunes but YouTube does get a bit distorted at highest volume so I'm not sure if it's me or the phone ha

Standard manufacturer warranty in the US at least is 1 year for defects.

If you are even a little bothered by it, I wouldn't wait it out. I'd take it straight to the Apple Store to get a replacement.

Today i was listening to audio on the YouTube mobile site and backgrounded it like I usually do when driving. I was getting that little 'pop' and it didn't seem to have anything to do with the volume. I have Bose speakers in my truck which work just fine. It's definitely something to do with YouTube audio and iOS 8.
