How do I record video in 1080p at 60FPS?

Apple says the iPhone 6 should be able to shoot 1080p video at 60fps. I went to Settings > Photos & Cameras, enabled "Record Video at 60 FPS". But when I shoot video through the camera app, even when it says I'm recording at 60 FPS, I get 720p video shot at 30 FPS. I'm stumped. How can I get my iPhone 6 to actually shoot 1080p video? Is there some other setting? I shared my video via iCloud, and looked at the properties on my Windows PC to confirm that it's only 720p at 30FPS. Even uploading to YouTube, it's still 720p. Any help or guidance is appreciated. Thanks.

I don't have that setting on my 5. But the default for iPhone video is 1080p. Are you using the stock camera app? I never use it. I use ProCamera 7 most of the time and Vizzywig for the movie like videos. Vizzywig has a new video camera app called Vizzywig 4K. It actually shoots video in 4K. It's only $999.99 for the app. A developer with i4software assured me it's worth the money. I love the original Vizzywig. It's better than iMovie. Your vids should be 1080p. I see settings in video apps where you can lower it to 720p, but the default is 1080p. ? ?

Guys YouTube doesn't support 60fps which is why it's not showing when you upload. It's probably compressing it to 720p because it can't handle the 60fps.

If you have 60fps turned on within the camera settings and it displays in the bottom right hand corner when filming them it's working. Try recording at just 30fps then uploading to YouTube to get 1080p video albeit at only 30fps.

Hope this helps.
