    Were you able to pre-order online? Did you have to pay off your remaining balance? Could you pre-order without trading your phone in first?

    My take on the NEXT program is you would need to pay the remaining balance first to restore eligibility to pre order again or wait till the phone is available in store again and you could trade in your old device.

    Yes, I was able to preorder through Apple. I didn't have to pay off remaining balance since I didn't have a balance on that line, so perhaps someone else can provide that insight. And no I didn't have to trade in a phone. As a matter of fact, I still have my 5s.

    just switched to next, family of 5, the never bothered to tell us next is only good for 4 phones!!!
