I use my Moto X charger to charge my iPhone all the time. The device will only draw what power it needs.

Yes you can use the USB wall plug from your Moto X. I use a different one to charge my iPad and iPhone too and it works fine.

I don't know, but I wouldn't, especially being that the iPhone 6 should come with a lightning cable and the square USB wall unit for charging.

Using the wall charger is fine. I would only caution using cheap 99 cent eBay wall chargers. But an official moto is fine.

Most will follow Apple recommendations, but as long are you are around 2.4a and nothing more you should be ok and not risk any more damage.

You can use really any wall adapter. I wouldn't recommend using those cheap wall adapters tho. They usually turn into trash in a couple weeks and don't charge your phone fully all the time

I am trying to read between lines to see what exactly it is that you're trying to joke about.

What's not a good idea? What the OP asks? It's fine... I wouldn't do it all the time... but in a pinch? Sure.

Wattage issues. In a pinch sure. But why not use the right stuff.

It's just starting a bad habit.

Tried using my Moto X charger and when I plugged my iPhone into the charger, said that the accessory was incompatible for some reason.
