Official Waiting In Line For The iPhone 6/6 Plus Thread!

Apparently there were plenty of people cutting in line, there were two or three apple employees watching the long line. There were no barricades on the perimeter, nor was there the two separate line for preorder pick ups and walk ins. I had queqed at around past 1:00am and was around or about 80th in line. Ended up with nothing after an 11 hour wait.

Does anyone remember the guy from the 5s launch in California last year reselling phones? This year, he was at my local Apple Store and had 40 out of the top 50 people buying 2 6+ phones each, which emptied the 6+ supply out just after they got my reservation.

Well, got to Best Buy today around 930ish. Little did I know they opened at 8am vs 10am. Oops. Oh well, my beautiful Space gray 128GB iPhone 6 was waiting with my name on it! They only had 8 iPhone 6 Pluses this morning and ran out of vouchers soon after opening. So my boyfriend will have to wait for his. Boo. But its wonderful!!!!!

Waited at Best Buy from 1 AM (first in line). At 7:30 the employee announced that they only had two 6 pluses. At 8, we were let in the store, got my 64G silver plus and by 9 AM I was home and sleeping.

I am in line to pick up my preorder and it's about 20 deep. They're letting one in per 10 minutes. It's ridiculously understaffed! The line for people to buy phones is insane still at 5pm

It was the same at my store! Understaffed and it took me about an hour to go 50 feet.

I was in line Friday but missed out since my local store can only 10 pluses and I was the 12th in line.

Im still trying to get one but no local ATT store has some. Its a mess

Returned to Apple Store The Grove 8:00AM. In line ahead were approximately 30 persons.
Apple Store manager came around and announced that preorders were still available for pick up for iPhone 6!
Got on that app right away and pre-ordered 3 devices (upgrades). Processing emails arrived and time-stamped at 8:33AM.
The store opens at 10:00AM.
Order confirmations and "We're ready for you" emails came at 9:55AM.
Was able to transfer over to Pre-order/pick-up Line and left Apple Store by Noon.
Picked up one color each, 64gb Verizon.
End of day.
