Good day to all! The release date of iPhone 6 is fast approaching. Do you have any ideas how much the cost will be?

Until Apple announces otherwise, expect it to cost the same as the 5S.... The 5s wI'll drop after the 6 comes out...

    Same as the iPhone 5s. $649, $749, $849

Maybe a little higher than last year's prices: a 50 dollar higher most likely... Due to bigger screen sizes and a possible inclusion of an NFC sensor.

    Welcome to iMore IamMasterChat

In an ideal world the price would stay the same but some rumors are putting the larger iphone at a premium price range higher than Apples usual range

Welcome to iMore. We won't know until the release. It's pretty safe to say it will cost as much as the 5s last year and maybe a little more.

I'd be surprised if the same price points don't remain. If there is a 5.5" size, I'd expect that to be $100 more than the 4.7"

It will cost more than the 5S here in the UK. Trust me.

We pay more over here in the UK for so much these days. The iPhone 5S 64Gb, off contract and unlocked straight from Apple is 709 in the UK or $849 in the USA.

709 is the equivalent of $1177 USD,
$849 is the equivalent of 511 GBP (which is less then the 16Gb version would cost in the UK - 549)

I had so hoped to be in the US by now so I could get myself a US version.

Cost more to do business in the UK because of all of the taxes. "Free" healthcare and the rest of the cradle to grave welfare benefits have to be paid for somehow.

That's alot of money to be paying for a phone unlocked and off contract. I would weep if I had to pay such prices.

But with the money you would save by having government healthcare instead of paying for it yourself, you could have a few thousand extra dollars a year to spend on electronics.

Apple tends to keep price close to the same.
I think we can expect the same pricing, if not a touch cheaper?

I always buy off contract in New Zealand so expect the price to be the same as always.

Everyone's forgetting that there's going to be a 5.5" version, which I think will be ex-pen-sive!

The 4.7" should stay the same price as the current 5s, but the 5.5" may see a $100 increase.

Well it depends. The subsidy is $450 for an iPhone and that is spread out over 24 months, so about $20/mo. Are europeans paying $20/mo less for their cell phone service on average than US residents after you factor in exchange rates, etc.?

Idk, but you would have to know to know whether or not they get a better deal over all than we do.
