iPhone 6 release date: September 9?

According to a post today by AppleInsider, the iPhone 6 will be announced on September 9th. Most likely it will be released on the following Friday. When should iOS 8 be released then?

The public release of is usually the day of or day after the announcement-so 9/9 or 9/10. The Golden Master for developers is usually a day or two before that.

I think the Gold Master is released right after the event is over.
