I'd like to see the next iPhones have more than 1 GB of RAM and a 128 GB storage capacity option like on the iPad Air and iPad Mini Retina. What do you all think?

128 GB is overkill on the iPhone.

Push out the 16GB option and have the 32GB be the starting point. Then extend it up to 128GB for top tier. I agree, 2GB could definitely be a plus in the ever expanding RAM eating app world.

I can kinda see the storage increase happening, but not so much the RAM. Yes, there are android phones with 2GB of ram, but that's how android works, they put in high specs whether they are needed or not (see "high specced" cameras that can't old a candle to the iPhone). Also, I have a lot more faith in Apple's efficiency than any android maker. does anyone with an iPhone really feel constrained by the amount of RAM they have?
If they do bump the storage up, I would prefer that they keep the 16GB model around. I plan on getting an iPhone 6, and I don't want to pay for 32GB. Maybe they could put the 32 GB at the current 200$/650$ price point, and lower the price of the 16GB? I'm just dreaming here...

They desperately need to make 32GB the starting point. 16GB is just doesn't cut it with the size of many apps today. Plus the cost of storage has plunged, $100 for the 32GB upgrade is ridiculous. I wouldn't spring for the 128GB but if the upgrade was a 64GB I would go for it. I stay against the wall with my 32GB but can't justify yet another $100 for the 64GB.

For everyone who wants/needs a 128GB iphone, ask yourself; Do you really need most of the things that you currently have on your iphone right now?

I agree 32 should be the starting point make 16 the free phone that comes out a year later
Also the ram should be increased in the flagship models and lower on Other or free models.
128 should be the max for iPhones but iPads should have a 256 or even 512 model with more ram than the iPhone maybe even more ram for the retina dedicated screen. Kind of like ram on a computer video card.
Ipad should be a work horse compared to iPhone IMO

Starting at 32gb would be great. That would give us more value. In addition, as 64 bit apps are written with a higher resolution app size will increase from developers I'd think. I'd also think that the amount of memory available out of the box would be less as apple adds new features like the health stuff and whatever else they may add. I may be totally off on this but just my .02.

I wish they would ax the 16gb and use 32gb as the entry model. There is no reason to charge so much more for more storage, and with 32gb, especially with apps and everything getting larger, it would make much more sense.
