iTunes Backup and Error -54

I went to backup my phone before upgrading to iOS10 and I keep getting an Error of -54 when it's almost done backing up. I quit iTunes, and restarted my computer but it does not help. I backed up my phone last month and did not have this error pop up. iTunes is up to date and it shows that the phone has backed up on the home page.

I went ahead and downloaded iOs10 and tried to do a backup again on iTunes and Error -54 still comes up. Does anyone else have this issue? I tried do a Google search but nothing I found helps. Anyone else have a possible remedy?

I have this problem also. It says that I haven't back up to iCloud for 17 weeks even though I select iCloud backup, and then it seems to go through the motions.
